A Very Charlie Brown Christmas

My brother came down from Idaho for Christmas. I felt bad, cos I had to work Christmas day, but we had a nice little Chirstmas morning, and dinner with Ben and Jessie upstairs the day after. Details are boring. Here are pictures:

Our little Charlie Brown Christmas Tree. It worked surprisingly well. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures before we opened all the presents. It was really cute.

Christmas dinner. Ben and Jessie did most of it. It was delicious.

I did the dessert. Banana pudding. It was ok.

Ben and Brit

Ben and Jessie (and Darius)

Me and Brit

Me and Brit and Andrew (and part of Jessie's head, that I had to crop out... which is why this picture is so fuzzy... sad panda.)

Me and Andrew and Simba (I think... his name changed about 3 or 4 times while he was with us. But he was a seriously cute kitten. Whiskey did not agree. Actually, I'm gonna tell that whole story after pictures, cos it was funny.)

One of my favorite Christmas presents, from Christmas in Colorado. It's a snowman! It's a nurse! It's hanging out decorating our TV stand. Love!

So. Whiskey and Simba. Funniest thing ever. Our cat is a total fraidy cat, and very spoiled and territorial. So she was NOT happy about a new kitten invading her space for 2 days. She spent most of her time under the bed. But when we forced them in the same room together (under close supervision), their interaction was hilarious. Whiskey would crouch and stare the kitten down, hissing and growling if he got too close. Simba, on the other hand, did not understand the concept of someone not liking him. So he kept trying to approach her, and backing off with this totally confused look when she tried to kill him with her mind. And he'd lay down (totally relaxed) 3 feet away and watch her.... and try again.... and run away all confused. What a cute kitten!!!
