Post Script

I'm watching the adoption episode of "16 and Pregnant." And I just have to say, if I ever hear anyone in real life say that a person chose adoption because they couldn't "man up" or "take responsibility," I will probably punch them in the face.

That is all.

Hi, sorry, you don't know me, but I stumbled across your blog and OH MY GOSH. I could not agree with you more on this post. (I'm adopted btw and my birth mom was 15) I seriously wanted to crawl through my TV and rip those "parents" a new one!

OMG SO FRUSTRATING! It's sad when two 16 yr olds are more mature than their adult parents.

I LOVED that episode. I loved that birth father when he told his dad that his daughter "deserved better." Those two were the most amazing couple out of all of them! Did you see that there is a reunion show on this week? I am tuning in for that.

I couldn't agree more. I like to see it as the parents had enough love & strength to give up their child, for the sole benefit of the child's future.
I'm kind of stuck in the mindset that stupid should hurt :o)
